Please complete the Application Form on the school website by Friday 9th Feb 2024. After which, you will be invited to an interview to discuss your application.
Interviews are scheduled for March- April 2024. For internal students, these will take place during the school day. For external students, these will take place outside the school day and you will choose a time that is convenient for you.
Each interview will last for approximately 15 minutes. During the interview, you will meet with a staff member to discuss your application and will have the opportunity to ask questions of your own.
If successful at the interview stage, you will be given a conditional offer, subject to you achieving the entry requirements for the courses you are applying to. If you accept the conditional offer, you will be invited to attend a Transition Day in July, at the end of the GCSE exam period.
Once you have received your GCSE examination results on Thursday 22nd August 2024, you will need to formally enrol with us on the day. The enrolment process will involve an in-person meeting, where the GCSE grades will be checked and subject choices will be confirmed. If students are unable to attend the enrolment meeting on the day, alternative arrangements can be made by contacting post16@fga.iexel.org.uk prior to results day.
